Valencia CF-themed gowns donated to hospitalised children
This March, Valencia CF have begun the distribution of 150 special hospital gowns, made from official club shirts donated by Puma and adapted to the needs of hospitalised children.
The first of the deliveries was made this week at IMED Valencia, where players from the VCF Academy, club ambassador Miguel Tendillo and VCF Academy director Sean Bai handed over the garments -a big hit amongst children at the facility.
"It's the least that we at Valencia CF can do. We stand beside those who need us most. I think that morale is the most important thing for these children, and it's tough to be able to give these children joy in this tough situation," said Tendillo after the delivery.

VCF Mestalla players Facundo González and David Ruiz also participated. Like the rest of their VCF Academy colleagues, this season they are participating in the social actions that the club are carrying out as part of the #AcademiaEnComunidad campaign, together with the VCF Foundation.
Throughout the month of March, Valencia CF, through the VCF Academy, VCF Femenino, VCF Footballers Association and VCF Foundation, will distribute the gowns to participating hospitals: Hospital Universitario y Politécnico de La Fe, Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valencia, Hospital Universitario Doctor Peset and IMED Valencia. The donation has the support of Puma, joining Valencia CF's objective of strengthening ties with the community. The action is also part of the #JuntsAnemAmunt campaign.

The Valencia CF representatives delivered the gowns complying with all safety measures. Later, the hospital staff gave them to the children, who were excited about the repeat of last season's initiative.
